We're seeking a seasoned Lead Installer to spearhead the installation of advanced heat pump systems. This is a unique opportunity for an HVAC expert who can leverage technical prowess, leadership skills, and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute complex heat pump installations, including ducted, ductless, and multizone systems
* Review project documentation, identifying areas that require improvement or clarification
* Delegate tasks effectively to assistants, ensuring seamless project execution
* Communicate installation progress with project managers and office teams, fostering collaboration and transparency
* Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently, minimizing delays
* Lead final system commissioning, air balancing, and diagnostic troubleshooting
* Serve as the customer-facing lead technician on all assigned projects
Qualifications:
* 4+ years of HVAC installation experience (heat pumps preferred)
* Hands-on skills in low- and high-voltage wiring, brazing, refrigerant charge, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
* Proven management skills, with ability to oversee projects from start to finish
* Leadership experience, including mentoring crews and job site management
* Certifications: EPA Universal, OSHA-10, NATE (preferred)
* Strong desire to transition into energy-efficient building practices and electrification
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
