Senior Site Operations Manager
An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Senior Site Operations Manager to lead a high-volume production and distribution facility in Brisbane’s north. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role suited to an operations professional who thrives in safety‑critical environments and enjoys leading teams through growth and change.
The site is entering a period of capacity expansion and operational evolution, making this a rare opportunity to shape standards, build capability, and influence long‑term performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end site operations across manufacturing, maintenance, quality, warehousing, and distribution
* Drive a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with WHS and regulatory standards
* Deliver production targets while improving OEE, yield, labour efficiency, and cost per unit
* Own site cost drivers including labour, materials, maintenance, freight, and utilities
* Lead preventative maintenance programs, shutdowns, and capital improvement projects
* Develop supervisors and future leaders, building accountability and engagement across the workforce
* Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery and service excellence
About You
* 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing or FMCG, including senior site or plant leadership
* Strong background in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and asset reliability
* Proven experience leading blue-collar teams in complex, high-volume environments
* Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels on the factory floor
* Experience with extrusion, high-speed packing lines, and distribution operations highly regarded
* Confident change leader with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
