Talent Acquisition Advisor - Temporary Opportunity Clerk Grade: 07/08
Salary range: $113,574 - $125,720 + super
Employment Type: Full-Time Temporary role to 30 September 2026, with potential for extension
Location: Gosford, Haymarket or Parramatta with hybrid working arrangements including 2 days office attendance per week About the Team This newly established team supports the delivery of a strategic roadmap to consolidate and harmonise shared services operations and systems across the NSW public sector. This includes consolidation of ERP systems and processes, IT service and incident management, and travel and expense management. The program aims to enhance the employee experience, improve sector mobility, and create streamlined, efficient processes that allow our people to better focus on delivering for customers. The Talent Acquisition Advisor will be responsible for identifying, attracting, onboarding and offboarding talent to meet the program’s resourcing needs. During the initiation phase, you will work closely with senior executives and program stakeholders to ensure resourcing requirements across the program and associated projects are met. Your Day-to-Day Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead – Government Shared Services, your role will include:
* Identifying and analysing emerging resourcing issues, preparing reports and presentations, and presenting insights to support workforce decision-making.
* Advising hiring managers on assessment evaluation and talent management strategies, collaborating on adjustments as needed to build capability across workstreams.
* Ensuring a positive experience for all candidates and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contingent labour, and vendor partners.
* Partnering with program and business stakeholders to provide specialist recruitment advice, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
* Managing end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure no adverse impact on project timelines.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Demonstrate:
* Experience in recruitment and selection, with a strong understanding of recruitment processes, legislation and best practice.
* Working knowledge of HR systems and/or recruitment management systems.
* Sound judgement, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence and collaborate effectively across all level
