Our client is a leading supplier of plant maintenance, fabrication and project services to the mining resources across Australia. An opportunity has become available for a Part Time Payroll Assistant to join their Payroll Team to assist with weekly pay runs and payroll enquiries.
Key duties and responsibilities
* Manual processing of all timesheets on a weekly basis
* Assisting with payroll queries via phone and email in a timely manner
* Processing of leave forms
* Maintenance of employee records and maintaining the computer filing system
* Management of the payroll inbox
To be considered for this position, you will have
* Proven experience in Payroll
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
* Excellent organisation skills and time management
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to be dynamic, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
* A willingness to work collaboratively within a team and across other departments
