Night Auditor & Guest Service Agent - Horizons Lake Jindbyne

Key Responsibilities
This role requires someone that can work as both a Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent, picking up shifts across the day and night on a Casual or Part-Time basis.
* Efficiently check guests in and out, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel procedures.
* Process daily guest transactions and reconcile accounts, including posting all accommodation, food, beverage, and miscellaneous revenue.
* Complete the night audit process thoroughly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies between revenue and payments.
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with tact and care.
* Maintain clear communication with the Front Office/Night Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with all cashiering, accounting, and audit policies, maintaining accurate documentation to support financial integrity.
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a similar Front Office role in a hotel with the ability to deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating and responding to guest needs promptly and professionally.
* Strong knowledge of front office operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and reservation management.
* Demonstrated experience in processing financial transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and account reconciliation.
* Proficiency in hotel property management systems and night audit functions, with attention to detail in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
* Ability to build strong relationships with other departments in the hotel.
* The ability to deal with multiple requests at once and maintain a high level of service.
* Familiarity with reservation systems and booking procedures.
