Human Resources Trainee Position
This is an entry-level role ideal for a person with a career aspiration in human resources and who is either participating in accredited training or desires to.
1. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide client and receptionist services, dealing with telephone and front counter enquiries and monitoring, screening and redirecting emails in the people and culture email inbox.
* Conduct routine administration tasks as well as record and information management to support the People & Culture department.
* Stationery purchasing and distribution ensuring stock is readily available.
* Support the wider team with project work.
* Willing to participate in professional development opportunities as they arise.
* Position may require on-the-job training and attending scheduled workshops.
2. Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally diverse teams within the social political and cultural environments of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families communities and organisations.
* Dedicated to completing a Certificate IV Human Resources.
* A willingness to grasp new concepts have a strong work ethic and be punctual and reliable.
* Manage multiple priorities and conflicting timelines.
* The ability to read and implement Work Health and Safety principles and practices and ability to comply with Institute WHS Policies and Procedures.
