Research and establish the main deliverables for each customer's account.
Determine ways to grow the account over the year and the most appropriate means of creating and maintaining a business relationship.
Determine the sales objectives, targets and initiatives for major customers in the marketplace and set targets.
Develop account schedules on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Research and determine new accounts and business opportunities.
Establish likelihood of success, potential revenue, and new potential business gains.
Analyze market trends that are affecting business growth and new/ developed client cases.
Assist in the resolution and troubleshooting outstanding accounts.
Quoting rates, filling rate request and customer requirements through trade desk and handling sales enquiries and information.
Deliver a positive customer service experience at all opportunities.
Document generation and release.
Requirements:
Tertiary Qualifications In a Related Field.
3 years’ experience in the shipping or cargo business.
Demonstrated knowledge of shipping export documentation.
Previous experience with import/export shipping and market and customs practice.
High level of computer literacy and presentation skills, including IQ Ship operating system.
Previous experience handling exports.
Previous leadership experience.
