The Client Development Associate role will be part of Westpac's Institutional Bank (WIB) and sits within the Global Transaction Services team. This role will act as an advisory partner to the Public Sector Client Portfolio for their existing products and services.
**How will I help?**
Your main function will be acting as a primary point of contact for the client assisting them with complex service and support needs in relation to their established products, but you will also advance your business development skills by working closely with Client Development Managers to complete sales-to-service activities, including scoping, documentation, and transition to Implementation across the deal lifecycle.
You will be directly supporting the Public Sector client base through consistent service query resolution.
You will:
- Work closely with the relationship management team and liaise directly with all product teams across GTS
- Liaise with and provide outstanding customer service to the client
- Proactively anticipate client needs and what products, solutions, and offerings are best suited for the situation

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role, you will be a pro-active individual with experience managing and understanding client needs within a transactional banking product environment. You will have to be organised and able to prioritise requests independently to support the overall client.
Further advantageous skills:
- Ability to develop an understanding of the client and industry sector to ensure superior service is provided
- Must have Global Transaction Services experience
- An interest in problem solving and dealing with complex issues
- Have a customer focus and a solution-based mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills
