Part time (4 day per week 0.8 FTE), fixed term until April 2027, located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of PsychologyExciting opportunity in the first Clinical Trials Network dedicated to child and youth mental health in AustraliaBase Salary, Academic Level A, $109,263 - $121,054 p.a. 17% superannuation About the opportunity The School of Psychology is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Child Psychology with specific skills in digital mental health and measurement to manage the Growing Minds Check-In (GMCI) program of research, a Flagship Trial of the Growing Minds Australia Clinical Trials Network, the first Clinical Trials Network dedicated to child and youth mental health in Australia. GMCI is a digital mental health tool that aims to provide a method for parents and young people to quickly 'check-in' on their mental health and wellbeing and provides tailored recommendations for free or low cost online support options. Your key responsibilities will be to:manage the day-to-day implementation of two clinical trials - the Growing Minds Check-In for Parents and the Growing Minds Check-In for Young People, including managing ethics applications and amendments, following clinical trials governance and related procedures, and ensuring research protocols and data management principles are upheldmanage a small team of research assistants, research officers and clinicians who provide research support to the projectmanage the GMCI budget, working closely with the Growing Minds Australia Executive Officercontribute to data management, data analysis and written outcomes associated with the projectchair the GMCI Advisory Committee, ensuring broad representation of researchers, clinicians and people with lived experience, with expertise in the field of child/youth mental healthprepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journalspresent findings at national/ international conferencescontribute to leadership and research output of Growing Minds Australia and the Child Behaviour Research Clinic. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate who has:a PhD (or near completion) in child Psychologystrong experience working on clinical trials in child psychologyexperience in managing complex, longitudinal data focused on child mental healthexperience conducting validity and reliability studies of child mental health measures for inclusion in the GMCIadvanced knowledge and skills using REDCapexperience managing teams and working collaboratively with researchers, clinicians, and stakeholders at various levelsstrong statistical skills using SPSS.
