About the role
Support the Hospitality, Commercial Cookery, and Food & Beverage sections as Operations Controller. Coordinate and supervise class support staff, maintain a clean and safe learning environment, manage stock control and ordering, and prepare student work areas to meet WHS standards. Oversee day‐to‐day operations and ensure teaching spaces are fully equipped.

- Oversee day-to-day operations of practical classes.
- Ensure teaching spaces are fully equipped for teachers and students.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Ability to learn and train other staff in TAFE business systems and account/requisitioning such as Check SCM.
- Sound knowledge of hospitality operations.
- Hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Demonstrated experience in food ordering and stock control.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working with Children Check (pre‐required) and willingness to obtain.
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
