Due to the opening of our newest retail store in Geraldton, we are seeking a career orientated sales professional to join our newly formed team.
You will liaise with our trade and retail customer base, servicing a wide range of our products and services to ensure that our customers get exactly what they need
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 38 hours across Monday to Friday, with potential overtime during peak periods.
The right candidate will be competitively remunerated, around $85,000 base salary plus superannuation (depending on relevant skills and experience) and store discount.
Duties will include:
* Face to face and telephone customer service and sales.
* Assisting customers to find innovative design solutions utilising CAD software.
* Prepare accurate and timely project quotations.
* Maintaining store stock levels and general housekeeping.
* Assist in customer pick-up area to ensure product are loaded safely into customer vehicles.
* Engage in regular product and sales training.
* Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment.
Skills and attributes:
* Proven ability to provide solutions and drive sales.
* A passion to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Previous experience within a retail and /or building industry preferred.
* Competent with a variety of software systems.
* Forklift license or willingness to obtain.
* Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous design consulting or building experience highly desirable, but not necessary (CAD skills an advantage).
