Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 + Superannuation

Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of a major aviation facilities contract based at Brisbane Airport. In this highly visible, fast‐paced role, you will be responsible for end‐to‐end contract delivery, financial performance, compliance, and stakeholder engagement across a large industrial site. You will work alongside a capable, tech‐savvy team within a modern, collaborative environment where efficiency, accountability, and strong communication are valued. Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, this role requires someone who is confident, resilient, and comfortable operating in a highly client‐facing environment with a demanding but professional stakeholder group.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage financial performance including budgeting, invoicing, and contract profitability
* Oversee delivery of all contractual KPIs and service obligations
* Lead subcontractor and supplier performance across a complex industrial site
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements
* Coordinate maintenance planning and ensure effective use of CMMS systems
* Maintain strong, professional client relationships and manage regular reporting and meetings
* Support and develop a small, high‐performing team through coaching and collaboration
* Participate in risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure accurate use of digital systems including CMMS and asset management platforms
Education, Experience & Skills
Essential
* Experience in facilities management, industrial sites, or large-scale maintenance environments
* Strong financial and contract management capability (budgets, KPIs, invoicing)
* Proven experience using CMSS platforms (MRI or similar systems highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of subcontractor and service delivery management
* Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines (post‐trade highly regarded)
* Confident communication style with strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work in a high‐demand, highly client‐facing environment
Desirable
* Experience in aviation, logistics, or other complex industrial environments
* Exposure to alliance or collaborative contracting models
* Qualifications in Facilities Management or engineering disciplines
* Experience with sustainability, energy, or OH&S systems
Workplace Flexibility
This role is fully on‐site at Brisbane Airport (100%), with free parking provided. A rotational on‐call roster forms part of the role requirements.
