About the Role:
Applications are sought from suitably qualified Allied Health Professionals to take the next step in their leadership career and join the team as the Allied Health Clinical Lead in the Subacute Department at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include:
· Provide clinical oversight for allied health services across the sub-acute models of care, including rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation and management, palliative care and transitional care program.
· Support attraction, recruitment and retention of allied health assistants through PDR development, succession planning, staff compliance and regular check-in's
· Lead, inspire and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with best practices, evidence-based guidelines and ERH policies and procedures
· Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
· Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
Qualifications/experience required:
· Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Exercise Physiology, or Dietetics.
· Current AHPRA registration (or equivalent).
· Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience.
· Desirable - Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) in a relevant clinical field or management
