The role of Warehouse Operations Manager is to oversee the daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.
About the Role:
The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead a team of warehouse staff, coordinate with dispatch and technicians, and collaborate closely with other departments to resolve escalations and deliver exceptional service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and product distribution.
* Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, ongoing training, and performance management to maintain a motivated and effective team.
* Develop and implement warehouse operational procedures and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
* Ensure safe handling, storage, and dispatch of products to prevent damage and loss.
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensure targets are met, and implement actions to achieve goals.
* Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements and company policies.
About You:
* You have 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or a related role, preferably within retail or furniture industries.
* You have demonstrated experience in team management, training, and performance development.
* You possess strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse logistics, and operational best practices.
* You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
