Geotechnical Engineer

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for managing risks and identifying geotechnical hazards associated with mining operations.

* Designing sequences of ore extraction across sublevels to control subsidence and seismicity.
* Assessing changing ground stability conditions.
* Providing recommendations to adjust excavation and blasting practices to maintain safety and productivity.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience as a geotechnical engineer working in an underground or open pit mine. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mining engineering or geology is required. Proficiency in geotechnical software and the ability to identify ground stability problems and perform analysis are essential skills.
