The Lorian Group is partnering with a well‐established fitout and refurbishment construction company to appoint an experienced Project Manager. This role is ideal for someone who has progressed through a Contract Administrator pathway and is now confidently leading projects end‐to‐end, with the capability to mentor and develop cadets and junior staff.
About the Role
You will take full ownership of projects across office, hospitality, government, education, and retail sectors, delivering fitout, refurb, and new build projects up to $10M. Managing multiple projects (typically 3–4 at a time), you'll be responsible for driving programme, cost, quality, and stakeholder outcomes, while also supporting the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* End‐to‐end delivery of fitout, refurbishment, and new build projects
* Programme management using MS Project
* Coordination of site teams and subcontractors
* Strong commercial oversight, including budgets, forecasting, and cost control
* Management of variations, procurement, and contract administration functions
* Client liaison and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle
* Mentoring and guiding cadets and junior Contract Administrators
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
* Managing project documentation and reporting through Procore
About You
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within fitout/refurbishment construction
* Background starting as a Contract Administrator — essential to mentor cadets
* Experience delivering projects up to $10M across similar sectors
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem‐solving skills
* Proficiency in Procore and MS Project
