Deputy head pharmacy technician - cancer care services (albury)

About the Role

The Deputy Head Pharmacy Technician – Cancer Care Services will support the Head Pharmacy Technician in the coordination of technician services at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre (AWRCC). This role focuses on the operational oversight of pharmacy technician staff and the delivery of advanced technician duties within the Cancer Care dispensary under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technician services within the Cancer Care Pharmacy.
• Oversee the operational activities of pharmacy technician staff.
• Deliver advanced technician duties under pharmacist supervision in the Cancer Care dispensary.
• Support aseptic chemotherapy compounding and related clinical services.

Qualifications

• Staffed Pharmacy Technician with strong hospital and aseptic chemotherapy compounding experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient‐centred care and high‐quality, safe Cancer Care pharmacy services.
• Valid registration as a Pharmacy Technician in NSW.

Employment Type

Permanent Full Time Pharmacy Technician Grade 3 (NSW Award).
