The primary purpose of this role will be responsible for raising capital and originating, cultivating, and managing relationships with investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, wealth managers and institutional partners.
Role and responsibilities:
* Lead fundraising initiatives for funds and investment vehicles.
* Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on HNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective investors through networking, referrals, and events
* Collaborate with internal investment teams to develop a deep understanding of the firm's products and effectively communicate this to prospective investors.
* Oversee investor communications, pitch materials, and due diligence processes
* Help shape the firm's brand and market positioning within the investment community
What you'll need to succeed
* 7+ years of experience in funds management, private wealth, investment banking, or private markets
* Demonstrated track record of raising capital or managing investor relationships in Australia and/or Asia
* Extensive existing network of HNWIs, family offices, and wealth platforms
* Deep understanding of financial products, fund structures, and investor preferences
* Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously in a boutique firm environment
* The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in capital raising, strong strategic relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate fund strategies through compelling and investor-focused narratives.
