**Position Description**
As an Accounts Payable Officer, your primary objective will be to ensure the accurate and timely administration of our Accounts Payable Function and associated systems. Additionally, you will provide essential backup support for the Admin and Reception function, contributing to the smooth operation of our office environment.
**Key Areas of Accountability**:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain vendor accounts, reconcile statements, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process payments via check, electronic transfer, or other approved methods.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Provide backup support for general administrative duties, including reception duties, as needed.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience using Cheops construction management software would be extremely favourable.
