This role requires you to assist with maintaining and caring for a group of diverse clients in support of the Managing Directors while working in a strong and supportive team environment.
The quality applicant will have:
* a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a public practice accounting firm;
* currently undertaking relevant University studies and willing to continue this Part-Time;
* sound knowledge of the Australian income tax system, including GST, CGT, SG, FBT;
* experience in preparing financial statements with supporting workpapers together with income tax returns for company and trust structures;
* knowledge of Xero, MYOB and other major accounting software packages;
* experience liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies;
* strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail;
* the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; and
* a positive can-do attitude, be proactive, enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
