About the team
The Group Procurement Teams purpose is to maximise the value of our non-stock goods and services required to meet our business objectives.
The Group Procurement Team work closely with the business to understand their needs and objectives, to deliver savings, to optimise spend, and to manage supply risk.
The role
We are seeking a Category Manager - Supply Chain portfolio, to join our team based at Strathpine. This role will develop and implement Category Plans for non-stock items. Ideally you will have logistics experience and SME levels of knowledge in this area. You will report into our Head of Procurement, Kylie Christie and success will see you:
Develop a detailed category plan
Own the end-to-end tender process
Maintenance of Contract Compliance
Manage strategic supplier relationships
Data Analysis
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure success
You will bring:
The role requires strong knowledge and experience across the procurement life cycle including category management, sourcing, contract and supplier relationship management
Considerable experience when it comes to strategic planning within a highly operational environment
Strong commercial awareness

Project Management experience
Internal/External Senior stakeholder engagement and management
Experience within a similar organisation with experience in peak trade periods - seasonal or cyclical.
