As a Diagnostic Imaging and Research Medical Physicist, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers high-quality medical imaging services across various modalities. The Imaging Physics Team is responsible for providing medical physics support to radiologists and clinicians, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement new imaging protocols and procedures
* Provide medical physics support for diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine procedures
* Develop and test novel PET image reconstruction and analysis methods
* Participate in research projects aimed at improving medical imaging techniques
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for patient-centred care, innovation, and teamwork. Essential qualifications include ACPSEM Registration as a Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physicist (Nuclear Medicine) and relevant postgraduate qualifications in a field such as medical physics or a related area. A PhD in PET physics or a closely related area is highly desirable.
