The University of Wollongong is seeking an experienced academic to contribute to high-quality teaching and research in nutrition science. The successful candidate will be involved in delivering industry-aligned teaching and playing a key role in curriculum development that reflects current and emerging industry needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the Nutrition Science Dietetics and Allied Health programs
* Deliver industry-aligned teaching and develop curricula that meet industry standards
* Lead a research program in a relevant area of nutrition science, supported by grants or industry funding
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in research, teaching excellence, and engagement with the food industry, particularly in advancing knowledge and practice in food innovation, technology, and sustainability. A PhD in nutrition, nutrition science, food and nutrition innovation, or a closely related field from an accredited university is required, as well as registration as a Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of Australia or eligibility for registration.
