What is the role?

Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Digital Producer (Band 3), AFP Production.

Working within the Corporate Communications section, AFP Production works with a range of AFP members including AFP executive locally, nationally and internationally to produce high quality audio visual services including video, motion graphics and photography to the AFP for a variety of corporate and operational purposes.

The team works on a rotating roster and domestic and overseas travel is a requirement, as is working outside regular business hours to support operational needs.

We're looking for a motivated individual with a solid foundation of technical skills and knowledge in video production or photography, and a passion for developing their skills in this area. This is an early career role for someone looking for an opportunity to continue to develop and learn from seasoned professionals in a busy production environment.

You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

What will you do?

**In this role you will**:
Maintain the AFP media library, including cataloguing photos and video files, and sourcing library images upon request.
Manage the AFP Conference Centre, including liaising with clients around conference centre bookings and capability, recording and live streaming of AFP and external presentations, and technical support for audio visual presentations.
Assist with production of video and photographic projects; including writing, producing, directing talent, organising projects and media, editing footage and audio files, creating static and motion graphics, and adding music/voice-over/sound effects.
Document and edit significant operational activity for distribution to the media and other AFP communication channels.
Prepare data for reporting to the leadership team on Production projects and activities.
Help to position the centralised communications capability as a centre of excellence, including remaining up-to-date with modern communications practices and creating an environment of continual learning and development.
Essential Requirements

A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Qualification/s in production/photography or related field.
Experience handling client requests/customer service
Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop and/or other video editing software.
Desirable Requirements

The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:
Experience working in a creative studio.
Experience with Fotoware, or other Digital Asset Management software.
