We are seeking an experienced Exploration Cook to support our exploration teams across remote sites.
This role is critical to site wellbeing, providing nutritious, balanced meals and maintaining clean, safe camp facilities in challenging environments.
You will take full ownership of meal preparation and kitchen operations while contributing positively to site culture and safety.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in remote work, enjoys autonomy, and takes pride in keeping people fuelled and looked after.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the rostered workforce Plan menus and manage food inventory, ordering, storage and waste reduction Cater safely for all dietary requirements while maintaining menu variety Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness Ensure kitchen, offices, laundry and ablution facilities are clean and hygienic Participate in daily safety meetings and proactively report hazards Support ad hoc catering, site events and assist field teams when required What You'll Bring Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Hospitality (or equivalent) Food Handling and Hygiene certification Experience cooking for large groups, ideally in remote or FIFO environments Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently Current First Aid Certificate WA C Class (manual) Driver's Licence Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance Highly Regarded Previous FIFO or remote exploration site experience Why Join Us Be part of a supportive exploration team where your role truly matters Work in unique remote environments with strong safety and people-first values Make a real impact on crew wellbeing and site morale If you take pride in feeding teams well, running a tight kitchen, and creating a positive camp environment, we'd love to hear from you.
