Be the spearhead in directing and managing the Australian operations of a global company devising strategies and strengthening business relationships to allow the business to further expand into the Australian market.

Join a global organisation with success across over 20 countries and be an integral catalyst for growth and strategy in their continued expansion to Australia. The organisation specialises in innovative self-service equipment for consumers such as photobooths, vending machines, photo kiosks and laundry equipment.

As a Managing Director for Australia, you will be responsible in overseeing all facets of the business, growing, and managing a strong pipeline of new sites, building a high-performing team with a positive culture, and ensuring the business has appropriate functions and processes in place to enable streamlined operations. Joining their smaller Australian operation will give you the opportunity to grow the business and make things happen on your own initiative.

- $160,000-180,000 base salary + super + car allowance + 20% bonus.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of the business: retail offerings, business development, operations, and marketing.
- Overseeing the company's business operations, ventures, and assets, ensuring all are fully functional and is adhering to company system & processes.
- Managing the financial performance at the country level, providing regular updates to the CEO and other senior executives
- Providing market insights and strategic advice
- Communicate and maintain trust-based relationship with stakeholders and business partners
- Developing and implementing the company's business strategies, expanding, and identifying new opportunities, coordinating, and managing regular operations
- Assessing and resolving operational issues and providing options
- Recruiting and training staff in accordance with company system & processes
- Research and implement new initiatives that drive revenue, growth, and expansion of the business
- Proven experience as a Sales Director, Managing Director or running your own business
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
- Hungry for success and delivering results with a strategic and analytical mindset
- Will have a full Australian Driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to business meetings
