The Role: Environmental Advisor
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Environmental Advisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about driving environmental innovation and using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
You will be working collaboratively with the project team and external stakeholders to promote best practices in environmental compliance.
* Evaluate compliance against contractual requirements and environmental regulations, articulating your findings in meetings, audits, and management presentations.
* Develop, implement, and maintain environmental plans, strategies, and procedures.
* Assess and maintain performance of environmental assessments and reporting.
* Manage and coordinate project environmental auditing requirements under the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP), Environmental Performance Requirements (EPRs), and contractual obligations.
* Coordinate the production and update of EMP's, including the Environmental Strategy, CEMP, and EPR Plans.
* Manage internal and external audits such as Company Audits (Business Unit, ISO 14001, etc.).
Evaluate compliance against project contractual and environmental requirements, articulating your findings in meetings, audits, and management presentations.

What You Will Need
* Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline.
* 2+ years in civil construction in environmental management (Principal Contractor side preferred).
* Prior experience on major civil projects (Transport, Water, Defence) highly regarded.
* Proven track record in delivering IS ratings for infrastructure projects, particularly in construction or civil engineering sectors.
* Experience in documentation preparation, submission processes, and stakeholder engagement throughout rating assessments.
* Knowledge of ISCA criteria across Planning, Design, Construction, and Operation phases.
