Propulsion Specialist Job
We are seeking a skilled Propulsion Specialist to join our team. As a Propulsion Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a professional and organized work area, including tools, valves, tubes, and manifolds for advanced subassemblies.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace environments and possess strong problem-solving, mathematical, computer, decision-making, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a professional and organized work area, including tools, valves, tubes, and manifolds for advanced subassemblies.
* Staging, building, testing, installing, and proofing of production subassemblies for Starship/Super-Heavy.
* Verify fluids and electrical connections using diagrams for propulsion systems.
* Perform testing and operate equipment for pressurized checkouts, using computer networks and following test procedures.
* Accept or reject test units based on criteria, document findings, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues.
* Follow procedures, specifications, and test instructions accurately.
* Set up and operate CNC bending machines and tube cutting equipment, conforming to tight tolerances.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace environments.

* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
* Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
* Capability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
