**Responsibilities**
Provide leadership to engage staff, customers and stakeholders of the business in the company's Purpose, Vision and Mission and ensure that this is reflected in all of the activities of the business.
Motivate a high-performance management team by attracting, retaining and mentoring key staff positions who have credibility throughout the company and ensure the company maintains a vibrant organisational culture.
Drive the company to achieve its financial and non-financial objectives.
Develop and implement the Strategic Directions, Strategic Plan and Business Implementation Plans of the company.
Ensure Operational Plans to manage the functional aspects of the company including sales, marketing, finance, production and human resources.
Provide supervision and management of the day-to-day affairs.
Manage all strategic relationships of the business which are critical to the performance of the business.
Oversee all administrative functions of the business including sales, marketing, financial administration, HR, production, transport and logistics.
Provide support to Engineering Senior management, sales, customer service marketing, human resource and finance.
Establish systems to identify and manage risks within the framework of the Risk Management Policy.
Ensure all regulatory and government requirements fully comply.
Ensure appropriate operational policies and procedures are developed, implemented and maintained.
Continue to develop a strong company with the right people in the right positions.
**Core requirements**
- Formal degree qualifications and/or experience in business management practices, manufacturing and engineering.
- Minimum 10 years work experience in a similar role as CEO/GM.
- Formal qualifications and/or experience in marketing and sales management practices.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in team building and coaching teams.
- Solid commercial skills and financial management capability.
- Experience managing and leading manufacturing operations.
- Experience in continual business improvement, governance and risk.
- The ability to travel within Australia and overseas
- Must have Victorian Driving Licence and be an Australian Citizen
