**Responsibilities**:
- Assisting in the day to day operations of the Butcher Department.
- Ensure meat is prepared and packed in accordance with the Forestway Fresh procedures and policies.
- Maintain schedules and routines for a smooth and efficient Butchery operation.
- Ensure recipes, processes and procedures and batch monitoring are always followed to the strictest detail.
- Document HACCP controls and checks.
- Ensure quality product and knife skills are used at all times.
- Ensuring all protocols for food handling and safety are being adhered to.
- Work efficiently and as directed to ensure mínimal wastage.
- Adhere to health and safety standards without compromise.
- Assist customers with any meat or small goods related enquiries and orders.
- Ensure that any issues are followed through and are immediately escalated to your department manager if required.
- Fulfil any tasks or duties as required by management and other department managers
