About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Structural Engineering Manager to join a global organisation based in Parramatta. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee and mentor a team of Structural Engineers while delivering high-quality, innovative engineering solutions across a range of data centre projects. You will play a critical role in shaping engineering practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Structural Engineers to achieve high performance and professional growth.
* Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
* Oversee structural design and analysis, with a strong focus on structural steel and lightweight steel frameworks.
* Utilise advanced structural analysis software, including Space Gass and Idea Statica.
* Develop and implement engineering processes, procedures, and technical documentation.
* Act as a key client interface, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
* Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Provide technical guidance and strategic input across projects and business operations.
About You
* Minimum 10 years' experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
* Professional Engineer (PE) status.
* Strong expertise in structural steel design, including lightweight steel structures.
* Advanced proficiency in Space Gass and Idea Statica.
* Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage engineering teams.
* Excellent communication and client‐facing skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
