ABOUT THE ROLE
The People & Culture Advisor provides day-to-day support across a broad range of people matters, helping leaders and team members navigate performance, conduct, wellbeing, and general HR processes with confidence. Working closely with the Senior P&C Business Partner and the wider P&C team, this role delivers practical advice, conducts fact-finding investigations, supports non-work-related injury management, and ensures accurate employee documentation and records across our systems.
You'll also contribute to recruitment, onboarding, culture, wellbeing, and engagement initiatives—playing a key role in delivering a positive and consistent employee experience while living our Dahlsens values and Our Circle of Care.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
* Providing generalist P&C advice and guidance to leaders and team members.
* Supporting performance, conduct, and behaviour matters, including fact-finding investigations and documentation.
* Coordinating non-work-related injury cases and suitable duties processes.
* Preparing contracts, variations, and other HR documentation.
* Maintaining accurate team member records and ensuring HRIS data integrity.
* Supporting end-to-end recruitment, including job ads, shortlisting, and reference checks.
* Ensuring a positive onboarding and offboarding experience.
* Assisting with P&C programs, wellbeing initiatives, and engagement projects.
* Helping review and maintain P&C policies and procedures.
* Upholding confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive matters.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferable).3+ years experience in warehousing in a similar environment (
preferred
)
* Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, MS Office, and HR-related systems
(Ready Workforce HRIS - highly advantagouse)

* Drivers Licence

* Solid understanding of HR principles, employment legislation, and P&C best practice.
* Experience across multiple HR functions: recruitment, ER/IR, performance management, workforce planning, and training.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to make sound decisions.
* Flexible, resilient, and able to adapt to changing business needs.
