* As a Release Manager, you will take ownership of managing application releases in the Digital Engineering domain.
* You will be responsible for owning releases affecting web and microservice applications.
* You will be part of a skilled release team, working with people in multiple time zones and with differing cultural backgrounds.
* You will work with Digital Tribes, Project Managers, Testers to ensure that existing release and change governance processes are adhered to in order to facilitate successful production releases.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Uphold the Release Management framework to ensure that releases are implemented in a controlled and standardised manner
* Managing end to end release activities from release gate adherence to production approval and deployment.
* Managing and co ordinate the Go Live activities including regular updates, GO/NO GO decisions to all key stakeholders, project teams.
* Responsible for all change approvals by managing Change & configuration management tools like Service NOW.
* Work with technical and non technical stakeholders for planning of release windows.
* Responsible for maintaining a schedule / implementation readiness with preparing detailed Implementation plan, Run Books to ensure release scope and dependencies all covered to meet release criteria.
* Develop risk management strategies to minimise the impact of releases on production stability, performance, and reliability
* Responsible for maintaining a release risk, issues and dependencies log associated with each release to ensure group knowledge and understanding of release decisions and outcomes and to minimise conflict and delivery issues
* Convey the risks and issues associated with releases to stakeholders to ensure group knowledge and understanding of release decisions and outcomes
* Review scope, release notes, TSRs for release requests
* Perform simple code merge and builds using Stash and Bamboo
* Work with Test Team to agree on a release test plan/strategy
* Act as release coordinator during Production deployments
* Experience with Release Management process and techniques.
* Experience with performing release coordination
* Experience with Change and Release modules on Service NOW
* Working knowledge of JIRA
* Experience with creating and editing pages in Confluence
* Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem solving skills.
* Previous experience in a technical role will be highly regarded. For example developer, devops or test lead.
* ITIL Service Management Certification
* Able to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
* Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, Project
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to communicate with technical and non technical stakeholders

Additional Skills (Good to have)

* Advanced knowledge of Atlassian tools for reporting
* Good to have Knowledge on DevOps tools AWS, Bamboo, Jenkins
