About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Plastic Welder to join our clients growing team. In this role, you’ll be working on specialised components that go into fire engine trucks – work where precision and quality really matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
Welding and fabricating plastic parts and assemblies for fire truck applications.
Interpreting drawings and work instructions to complete jobs accurately.
Carrying out modifications, repairs, and quality checks on existing parts.
Safely operating welding tools and keeping equipment in top condition.
Working alongside a small, dedicated team to deliver on tight deadlines.
Keeping the workshop clean, secure, and compliant with WHS requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Solid experience in plastic welding (minimum 3–5 years).
Hands-on skills working with plastics such as PE, PP, and PVC.
Solid eye for detail and pride in producing quality work.
Previous exposure to fabrication, tank building, or piping systems (an advantage).
Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and contribute to a team.
Safety-focused mindset and reliable work ethic.
