We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Service Advisor / Warranty Clerk to join our dynamic service department in a full-time capacity. This is a diverse and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys both customer facing responsibilities and detailed administrative work.
About the Role
As a combined Service Advisor and Warranty Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for service customers and take ownership of the warranty claim process with vehicle manufacturers. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in our busy workshop and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Service Advisor Duties
* Greet customers professionally and manage their service enquiries
* Schedule bookings and allocate workshop time efficiently
* Accurately prepare job cards and service invoices
* Provide updates on service progress and communicate repair needs clearly
* Build lasting customer relationships by offering a professional and transparent service experience
* Promote additional products and services where appropriate to add value and increase customer satisfaction
Warranty Clerk Duties
* Prepare, review, and submit warranty claims for GWM, LDV, MG, and Mahindra vehicles
* Ensure claims are completed in accordance with manufacturer policies and compliance standards
* Liaise with technicians to confirm correct documentation of repairs and parts used
* Follow up on pending claims, handle rejections, and manage resubmissions
* Maintain comprehensive records of all warranty-related work and transactions
* Stay current with manufacturer bulletins and warranty procedure updates
* Collaborate with parts, workshop, and admin teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor and/or Warranty Clerk in the automotive industry is essential
* Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, repair processes, and warranty compliance
* Proficient in Pentana/ERA Power systems (triage experience highly regarded)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
