Real Futures is a majority Aboriginal-owned and staffed company. We provide tailored employment services across Australia including Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES), Transition to Work (TTW), Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) and Careers Guidance Services to adult residents of NSW.
A day in the life of our Career Development Specialist can include, but are not limited to the following:
* Supporting and understanding a caseload of youth's barriers
* Engage with young people in the local community
* Attend local secondary schools to provide information to staff and students about Transition to Work
* Creating and sourcing education and employment opportunities
* Supporting and helping clients identify their skills, abilities, and secure sustainable employment
* Building rapport and supporting clients to increase their capacity
* Conduct, create, tailor, and implement an individual service plan
* Building sustainable and long-lasting relationships with local employers, registered training organisations and community organisations
* Participate in local community, employment and networking events and forums
You will be an experienced and detail focused administration professional, along with:
* Demonstrated ability to work in an outcome-based environment
* High level administration skills and attention to detail
* Well-developed problem-solving skills
* Well-developed computer literacy
* Exceptional organisational skills abilities to manage competing priorities.
* Understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, people with a Disability, people from CALD background and the issues they face
* Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

To be considered you must...
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Have a current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
* Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
* Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
* Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
