Title: Junior Analyst
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Qualifications: Applicants must be tertiary qualified or currently undergoing their tertiary qualifications. Prior experience in a top tier bank, accounting advisory or private equity firm will be viewed favorably.
Responsibilities:
* Perform in-depth research, analysis and present:
* Fundamentals/overview of potential investments
* General industry research to assist in the identification of opportunities
* Risks evaluation and mitigations of potential investments
* Support deal execution including financial analysis, due diligence, documentation and financing
* Support asset management functions including regular asset reporting to key stakeholders
* Support key functions and other ad-hoc of the Melbourne office, including supporting the senior professionals as required
Preferred Attributes:
* Financial modelling skills will be viewed upon favorably
* Transaction experience in evaluating and undertaking due diligence for new investment opportunities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Strong academic qualifications in math, engineering, finance or accountancy
* Strong Excel skills
* Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
* Independent and critical thinker with strong analytical ability
* Exceptional eye for detail
* Positive and driven to perform/excel
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Exceptional presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to confidently interact with senior management, investors and peers
