This is a collaborative group that values practical problem-solving, community impact, and clear communication. Please note these roles are based on site.
Your New Roles
Senior Communications Officer
As the Senior Communications Officer, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of the Communications Team, overseeing incoming work, delegating tasks, approving outputs and managing resourcing. You'll develop higher-level or higher-risk communications plans, produce high-quality written content, liaise with key stakeholders, and bring experience across social media, Canva design and media liaison. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that balances coordinating team operations with jumping on the tools when needed.
Communications Officer
In this role, you'll help the team keep the community, stakeholders, and media informed and engaged. You'll support community consultation and marketing activities, manage website and social media updates, assist with customer enquiries, and help shape day-to-day communications across the department. You'll contribute to both planning and delivery, working closely with colleagues to ensure consistent and clear messaging.
What You Need to Succeed
* Demonstrated experience in communications, media or public relations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience managing websites and digital content
* Confident using Microsoft and Adobe suites Ability to work with a range of stakeholders
* Strong organisational and time management skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to public sector values Immediately available to commence for the duration of the contracts
* Current driver's licence and be prepared to work onsite
