Facilities Management Role
About the Job:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in our team, supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
We have a large site where we ship aftermarket parts for over 900 retailers. As a high-calibre Facilities Manager, you will take control of facilities operational requirements for projects, working closely with Unipart Logistics and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with and manage client's principal contractor, M&E contractors, engineering suppliers, architects, and various departments to lead ambitious projects.
2. Monitor and manage agreed timing plans to ensure delivery within agreed time scales.
3. Manage and oversee multiple project tracking across various contractors.
4. Evaluate and implement effective maintenance strategies across the site ensuring compliance with strict regulations.
5. Provide line management and day-to-day support of existing resources including Electrical, Mechanical teams.
6. Continuously review the provision of facilities management services and ensure they meet world-class standards.
7. Develop and deploy strategic plans for utilising external contract support.
8. Ensure work activities consistently meet quality, safety, cost, and delivery specifications.
