About the role
We have an opportunity for a Musician - Band Member (Drum Kit & Percussion) to be part of our NSW Police Band, Public Affairs Branch. The Musician contributes to the positive promotion of the NSWPF through community engagement by performing as a musician in the NSW Police Band.
This position attracts an allowance for doubling on a second musical instrument. In addition, the NSW Police Band shuts down for three weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, as well as a two-week period during the end of term 2 NSW school holidays every year, where annual leave is taken.
A Working With Children Check (WWCC) is a prerequisite for this role.
* The applicant is responsible for applying for their own WWCC (an employer cannot apply on behalf of a worker) and if the outcome is a clearance, the Check is valid for five (5) years and may be used for any child‐related work in NSW.

Remuneration
Total Remuneration Package: Base salary ranges from $79,840 to $89,672 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
