Outdoor Grounds Person – Part Time

Location – Cornelian Bay Cemetery, Queens Walk, Cornelian Bay
We are seeking reliable and motivated Outdoor Grounds Persons to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves a wide range of grounds and garden maintenance tasks, and requires a commitment to working with attention to detail in a sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lawn care, including ride-on and push mowing, and brush cutting
- Hedge trimming, tree trimming, rose and plant care
- Herbicide and pesticide spraying
- General power tool use and upkeep
- Assisting with burial requirements in a professional and respectful manner
Requirements:
- Hold a full manual driver's licence (essential)
- Experience in grounds or outdoor work
- Ability to operate and maintain power tools and outdoor equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- A respectful, professional approach to working within a cemetery environment
