Our "Why"
Embracing Arms is founded by two sisters with a shared vision to change the narrative around disability. Our passion comes from personal experience, growing up with two brothers diagnosed with autism and an intellectual disability. Navigating the challenges of finding the right supports for them, gave us a deep understanding of what true, person-centred support should look like.
What you'll do:
* Deliver client-centred therapy in home, school, and community settings.
* Using evidence based approaches to assess and diagnose people with communication difficulties.
* Complete assessments, reports, and NDIS documentation.
* Collaborate with families, teachers and support staff to embed therapy goals into everyday life.
* Participate in regular team meetings, see real progress, and collaborate.
