We have a great opportunity for a reliable and highly organised person to join our busy Human Resources Department based at our largest premise, Wyong Rugby League Club. The position will be a part time role, perfect for a student seeking an entry level position in the field of Human Resources. This role will be three days per week, however, could increase further to cover leave within the department, or workload demand, so flexibility is essential. This role will see you work with the HR Team to deliver timely, professional, and confidential human resources and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
* General administration duties such as data entry, filing, preparing documentation, uniform inventory, ordering, setting up training rooms and other tasks as required.
* Being fluent in, and providing support and assistance across all HR software and platforms.
* Maintaining and updating employee records.
* Assisting with recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
* Assisting with organising training for new and existing employees.
* Responding to employee enquiries in a proactive and professional manner.
* Conducting employee performance appraisals.
* Assisting the HR Team and Venue Managers from all sites with general HR support.
* Assisting with new HR related projects.
Who you are:
* A student or graduate of tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management.
* Administrative experience is advantageous to this role.
* Ability to develop strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential, with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
* Computer savvy with a good understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
* Experience with ELMO - HR or Tanda software advantageous.
* Having previously worked in the hospitality field would be advantageous.
* Self-motivated, strong organisational and time management skills.
* A proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
* Most importantly a friendly person who works well within a small team with a can-do attitude.

* RSA and RCG Competency Card (or be willing to gain).
* Current drivers' licence and reliable vehicle (travel between venues is sometimes required).
* Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check (as arranged by the Wyong Leagues Group).
