Description


Reporting to the RF & EME Engineer, the RF Engineer is the primary customer interface responsible for delivering RF Planning and Design services across Indara projects. This role ensures that all deliverables meet both customer expectations and internal standards, aligning with Indara's policies, values, and commitment to quality. The RF Engineer works collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining a focus on compliance, innovation, and safety.

Key responsibilities will include:


• Comply with Indara's policies, procedures, and quality standards.

• Deliver RF planning and design tasks on time and to specification.

• Complete the EME services scope (i.e. Environmental EME report, develop mitigation strategies etc.)

• Validate customer data using RFNSA, Near Map, Previous Reports, Photos, and Drawings.

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather sufficient and accurate data for planning and design.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all RF Planning and RF Design work.

• Ensure project milestones are met in line with agreed customer and internal timelines.

• Collaborate with SAED teams to ensure successful site delivery.

• Comply with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards.

• Stay updated on RF industry standards and regulatory changes.



Skills And Experiences


To be successful in this role you will have:


• Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering, or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of RF engineering experience.

• In-depth understanding of RF planning parameters and guidelines.

• Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving capabilities.


• Ability to troubleshoot workflow issues and implement effective solutions.


• Expert knowledge in RF and antenna system characteristics.


• Deep understanding of wireless telecommunications and asset management.


• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.


• Knowledge of key standards and regulations: ARPANSA RPS3, AS/NZS 2772.2, ACMA Radio Radiocommunications Register


• Understanding of EME exposure levels and standard mitigation measures.


• Familiarity with RF and DB management systems and processes of major Australian carriers.

Experience using RF planning tools (e.g., Atoll, ASSET) and familiarity with RFNSA STAD platform is desireable.
