Remuneration: $73,427 - $85,800 + Superannuation

Responsibilities

The New Graduate Program in Social Work comprises four rotations spanning various teams within the local health district, including:

* Social Work Team at Broken Hill Hospital (General Social Work, Maternity, Disability, and Child and Family services)
* Mental Health Directorate (Community Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Inpatient Facilities)
* Violence, Abuse, and Neglect Service (Sexual Assault, Domestic Family Violence, Adult Survivors Program and Child Protection programs)

Additional duties as assigned within the local health district to support patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

How To Apply

To be considered for this position, please address the selection criteria in your application:

* New graduate Social Worker with a recognised degree in social work and eligibility for membership of the AASW
* Knowledge of the social work role in the health system
* Sound verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
* Capacity for self-reflection
* Ability to link theory and practice in working with clients
* Current driver's licence and willingness to use it for work purposes
