**About The Role**
Monash Health has a large post-graduate psychology clinical education program taking on clinical psychology, clinical neuro-psychology and educational and development post-graduate students from a number of key educator providers.
The Psychology Student Coordinator role:
- Supports the psychology leadership group, supervisors and the post-graduate students on placement
- Supports the Psychology Deputy Director in placement planning, liaising with education providers, data collection and maintenance
- Develops, implements and evaluates clinical placements
- Supports placement supervisors in developing post-graduate competencies
- Provides primary and/or secondary supervision to post-graduate students as required
**About You**
You are experienced, energetic and determined in whatever role you have undertaken. Your track record includes demonstrated success in the following areas:
- Psychological assessment, treatment, research and evaluation
- Supervision of staff and students
- Proven ability to develop and coordinate programs including education and training of staff and post-graduate students; and
- Previous experience in administration, program development, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives
You are highly motivated and thrive on the challenge of supporting and developing staff and post-graduate students to perform at their best every day. Naturally you have strong written and verbal communication skills, you are an active listener and possess well developed negotiation and influencing abilities that will be used in working with internal and external stakeholders. Postgraduate qualifications in education and supervision are strongly preferred.
What You Need:
- Current general registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Has endorsement from the PBA in an Area of Practice;
- Hold supervisor endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) for Registrar Supervision (primary and secondary) and Higher Degree supervision
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in the field of Psychology at a minimum P2 (or equivalent) level
