About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Commissioning Specialist to join our project-based construction team. As a key member of the team, you will have prior civil construction experience and display strong technical skills in all elements of civil engineering.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the delivery team to assist with technical and services-related deliverables and regularly check-in with Section Leads to report on progress or any current issues.
* Engage with services consultants and subcontractors to manage and coordinate services delivery elements of the project.
* Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan and client specifications.
* Prepare coordinated commissioning plans, matrices, programs, or schedules to assist with delivering a methodical and logical commissioning program.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
* Conduct and participate in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions, and other health and safety requirements).
About You:
* Demonstrated experience working as a Services Engineer in the construction industry involving inground services and commercial building infrastructure.
* Previous experience in a construction position delivering services packages through construction and commissioning phases.
* Strong ability to monitor a section of work and coordinate resources to deliver on time and budget while upholding high-quality standards.
* Excellent safety record and experience in coordinating and/or running toolbox meetings, pre-start meetings, site inductions, and a demonstrated commitment to HSEQ practices.
* Proven experience in managing a control system for labor, plant, and materials.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills enabling assistance in resolving client and key stakeholder concerns.
* Tertiary education within the field of building and inground services related to but not limited to a degree or trade equivalent in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
