Our client is actively seeking to recruit an experienced Executive to assume responsibility for the management and oversight of their well-established, successful and diverse private Perth-based industrial product Group.

Our client seeks candidates with previous CEO or senior executive experience in industrial products sales and marketing with a high customer service orientation.

As a family-owned company they value a collaborative, values-driven leadership style and an inspirational approach.

Leads and optimises all Group operations, ensuring safety and efficient delivery. Manages daily performance, pursues long-term improvements, drives new business opportunities, develops the team, and maintains key relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers.


Key Responsibilities


Strategy, Planning & Leadership

* Contribute to organisational strategy and lead operational planning.
* Translate strategic objectives into practical execution plans.
* Provide timely and insightful operational insights and recommendations to the Chairman.


Operational Leadership

* Ensure all business activities are strategically planned, appropriately resourced, and executed with a focus on safety and efficiency.
* Maintain robust operational oversight across all business locations, managing daily operations effectively.
* Ensure adherence to client requirements as well as compliance with all relevant industry standards.


Asset Management & Maintenance

* Plan maintenance, handle inspections and certifications.
* Supervise manufacturing.
* Prepare capital plans and business cases for equipment upgrades.
* Promote a culture that prioritizes safety and demonstrate effective behavioural safety leadership.
* Administer HSEQ systems, policies, training programs, competency management, and assurance activities.
* Ensure robust governance practices are in place for managing high-risk work environments.


Commercial, Financial & Performance Management

* Develop operational budgets and forecasts. Track KPIs—utilisation, availability, productivity, and cost efficiency. Assist with tenders, pricing models, and contract reviews.
* Mentor managers and seniors; manage workforce planning and recruitment for operations.
* Acts as the Group's representative during senior customer meetings and industry events.
* Cultivates robust relationships with customers while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
* Oversees effective engagement with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.


Governance, Systems & Reporting

* Enhance governance, risk management, and compliance processes across operations. Supervise the adoption of digital technologies and further innovative solutions.


Required Experience, Skills + Attributes


Experience

* Over 10 years as CEO or senior operations leader in industrial products.
* Extensive experience in industrial product sales and marketing.
* Skilled at managing multi-site business operations (highly desirable).
* Strong financial, commercial, and marketing expertise.


Skills

* Effective in operational planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
