Our client, an innovative, agile, and progressive Australian family-owned manufacturing business, is currently in search of a dedicated individual to take on the role of Production Manager.

Reporting directly to the State Manager, the Production Manager will assume full responsibility for overseeing all production aspects of the Adelaide branch, collaborating closely with various departments within the organisation. The primary focus of this role is to ensure smooth and efficient operations that lead to high-quality outcomes for valued customers, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company's key objectives.

Key Responsibilities will include:

* Leading and guiding the Production team to ensure adherence to established protocols.
* Managing production schedules to meet demanding deadlines.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships among team members.
* Motivating and inspiring team members to surpass production targets.
* Navigating conflicting priorities and timelines to achieve positive outcomes.
* Collaborating with other branches and group personnel to foster a team environment.
* Managing the production team, ensuring targets are met, and promoting training, motivation, productivity, and compliance with WHS guidelines.
* Overseeing operations to ensure efficiency and on-time completion for punctual deliveries.
* Monitoring and managing productivity and labor costs.
* Evaluating product quality against strict quality assurance standards.
* Implementing cost-effective and safe production methods to ensure timely deliveries.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

* Extensive experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
* Significant managerial experience within manufacturing roles.
* Skills in maintaining and performing minor repairs on machinery and tools.
* Proven success in building effective, cohesive teams.
* A thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of WHS regulations and prerequisites.
* Strong leadership and motivational skills.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to operate flexibly within tight timelines and varying workloads.
* Proactive problem-solving skills for different situations and challenges.
