**The Client**:
Exciting opportunity to join a freight forwarder who require a Warehouse Manager with strong experience in standard and 3PL warehousing plus knowledge in implementing processes - 2-3years+.
**The Position**:
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of a small team and ensuring safety is paramount. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage 2 warehouse operations and associated tasks/one is a 3PL
- Lead, delegate and manage your team including; ensuring effective communication of department's objectives, conducting performance reviews and managing poor performance
- Constantly review and establish new procedures for all administration relating to warehouse operations to ensure more efficient outcomes
- Maximise warehouse efficiency by ensuring effective resource planning
- Produce reports and statistics which help guide decision making on warehousing
- Ensure the facility is 100% maintained, secure and all safety regulations are met and adhered to
- Conduct team meetings to monitor performance and encourage engagement
- Work with the Director and Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting and profitability of warehousing as a business stream in the company
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communications and customers' requirements are met.
**The Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role - essential
- Demonstrated people management and leadership skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Highly developed communication and reporting skills
- Excellent skills in writing SOP's
- Forklift license and experience using MHE
- Ability to ensure safety requirements at all times
- Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
